Dear Workshop Members and Friends,
     
     We wanted to update you on all we've accomplished this year, what our goals are in the coming year, and how you can help us achieve those goals:

Just some of our accomplishments to date this year:

-  85 workshops!!
-  4 contests where everyone gets feedback on their work from the judges - a wonderful incentive to finish that story or poem!!
-  79 scholarships to low-income writers to attend workshops of their choice!!
-  Offering coaching and editing services to beginning or experienced writers.

What our goals are for this coming year: 

- Contests and classes for writers young and old to express their thoughts on climate change, free speech, and eradicating violence in our society.

- Bringing noted writers and activists to speak about these issues and offer solutions. 

- Offering an outreach program to young and elderly people, in the schools and at  retirement centers.

          Since 1985, we have helped thousands of people improve their writing and reading skills. Now we need your help to continue and enhance our programs with a tax-deductible gift.
