YOUNG WRITERS’ CONTESTS

POETRY CONTEST

First Prize: $100       Second Prize: $75       Third Prize: $50      Ten Honorable Mentions

Deadline: Postmarked by April 30, 2010.
Each poem should not exceed two pages (double-spaced).
Your name, address, email, phone and title of work should appear on a separate cover sheet.
The entry fee per submission is $5 for every 3 poems. Multiple entries are accepted.
Enclose legal size self-sealing SASE for critique and list of winners.

CHANGING MY WORLD ESSAY CONTEST

Write an essay of 15 pages or less, doublespaced, about an issue that concerns you (for example: environmental, social, educational, etc.)  Research your topic, and offer possible solutions.

(which will receive comments by contest judges), and for list of winners.
