 3rd ANNUAL MEET THE AUTHORS WRITING CONTEST:
E.L. DOCTOROW and PETER MATTHIESSEN in NY

The top five contest winners will meet National Book Award-winning authors E.L. Doctorow and Peter Matthiessen in New York this September. They will have the opportunity to discuss their story with the authors, and have books autographed. In addition, ten Honorable Mentions will receive recognition.

The Writers' Workshop in Asheville has many famous and distinguished authors deliver talks to members. These authors, in the past, have included Kurt Vonnegut and Eudora Welty. Sorry you missed it? Don't be! We have the DVD recordings available, so you can experience these lectures over and over again. Might be the perfect present for that difficult-to-shop-for friend or family member!
